Posted by admin 31 October, 2009 (0) Comment

When you experience hair loss it can be quite traumatic and cause you a lot of worry and stress and of course the amount of stress caused by any hair loss will not do you any favours and depending on the reasons for the hair loss it could aggravate the situation.

There are various hair growth products available to buy, including shampoo products that can slow down and stop your hair loss and help to promote new hair growth.

Some people will experiement with various brands, others may not want to do this and look for the best hair loss shampoo right from the start as they may not want to experiment with too many different products on their hair for fear of making the problem worse.

Ideally you should be able to replace your usual shampoo with the hair loss shampoo so that you are not having to use seperate products and not having to spend more time washing and treating your hair than necessary.

Being able to have confidence in the product that you’re using is of importance, because hair loss is one of those matters that can really get you down and lead to even further loss because of the anxiety caused by the situation, it’s important that your concerns and worries are reduced and using a product that not only works but requires no extra time can really contribute to the situation overall.

It’s a real lift and boost for your confidence when the hair loss stops, new hair growth takes place and you feel like a weight has been lifted and you can begin to feel much happier about your hair again.

Matching Your Facial Features With A Hair Style

Posted by admin 28 October, 2009 (0) Comment

face-and-hair-styleYou often hear and read suggestions over the years about how certain styles will suit certain face shapes, whether round, square, oval, long faced or something in between, but it’s not to say that just because you get a cut that is thought of as suitable to a face shape that it will somehow magically work for you because you happen to have a particular face shape.

There are so many differences in facial features that can make a style work well with a face shape or not work that well at all, so even though you might think that a certain style will be more suited because you face is round, square or long and because you have seen someone else with a similar shaped faced looking good with that style, it wont necessarily be ideal for yourself.

Everything from hair color and the condition of your hair, to skin tone, the shape of your eyes, length of your nose, your lips, basically every part of your face can make a difference to the overall look.

Of course one of the ways of finding out what styles work well for you and compliment your facial features is by experimentation and while opting for different styles over time, it can be a good idea not to go from one extreme to another, sometimes working gradually towards a much shorter cut or a longer style can give you a glimpse of how you may look if you continue in one direction.

As with a bad hair cut, especially if you go for a very different length and look than you’re normally used to, it can leave you feeling quite fed up if you have to wait months to get it looking somewhere near acceptable for you again and even though the style that you went for at the time seemed so perfect in your expectations because you know your own face shape, it’s suprising how disappointing the result can be when you realise afterwards that the face shape is not always enough for that certain hair style to look really great.

Take everything into account when attempting to match a hair style to your facial features and overall face shape, include everything, like your hair color including the current color and a possible new color as part of the style.

Cleanser And A Reason To Use An Inexpensive One

When you have been using skin care products for a while, you begin to get used to what works best with your skin and although it might take a bit of experimentation, you can often find yourself settling into a combination of products that work well and give your skin good results, even though they might have the opposite effect on someone else.

There are certain products which you shouldn’t feel to guilty about spending a bit extra on if you get the desired reults from using it and your skin may demand it as it may not react well with some of the cheaper priced products.

But with some, you have to take into account how long the product is on your face and if you think about when you use cleanser, it’s only on your face for a very short time, it’s not a product that is being left on your skin and that is something that you might not think about at first.

Even though it’s benefitting you and is part of your routine, it wont be left on your skin throughout the day or night, so if you spend more than you really need to on a single cleanser then you are throwing away money.

This might not apply to you if you absolutely must use an expensive cleanser, maybe you have the type of skin where you really do need to use a higher priced one and an inexpensive one is not an option for you.

But if your skin is fine with a less expensive cleanser and you still get the results that you expect from using it then theres no reason to spend more on the product than you really need to.

Dont wash your money away with products like cleansers which are only in contact with your skin briefly.
