It’s a common occurrence for people to get stretch marks. They occur mainly from excess stretching of the skin caused by weight gain, pregnancy, body building, etc.  However, once you get them, they can truly be a real pain to get rid of them.  But with today’s modern advancements in medical techniques, Stretch Mark Cream treatments are now the weapon of choice by many who want to finally get rid of their stretch marks once and for all.

If you’ve done some sort of weight loss procedure such as a Colon Cleanse or similar, you probably used to be overweight or at least had more weight to carry around than you now have. This may have left you with stretch marks on your skin that you want to really get rid of.

As once read on a Diet Review website, it’s important to understand what creams work best for your skin tone and color so that you can get the absolute best results without hesitation. Try out creams that you think will work and only stick to the one’s that you know will bring you the benefits that you have always wanted and dreamed about.

Prevention is also a huge key to not getting stretch marks.  Many creams, lotions, and ointments also have the power to prevent the occurrence of them on your skin! It’s not well known to many but it is indeed true.  Try out these creams and you will be surprised and the less likely chance that you will not ever have these stretch marks on your skin once you are going through weight gain,  pregnancy,  or just putting on more weight and putting your skin through some stressful stretching processes.

Testing A Product On A Small Area

Posted by admin 3 July, 2009 (0) Comment

When you purchase a new product it’s only natural that you’re eager to try it out as soon as you can, with facial skin care products like cleansers and masks you may feel that you know and understand your own skin type but you never know how your skin might react to a new product that you’re trying so you’re always safest to try it out on a small area of your face first.

By doing this you can quickly deal with any bad reaction to a product without having the reaction affecting your whole face.

You need to apply enough to an area of your face so that if your skin doesn’t like this new product that you will be able to see if theres a problem but at the same time keep the area that you’re testing on fairly small.

It’s much easier to deal with a small area of skin that may have suddenly turned red, or looks irritated, dry or has reacted in some other way to the product.

The last thing that you want is to have completely applied the new product to your face, only to find that your whole face is now affected as this becomes more stressful.

Even when you’re using only a sample of a product its still best to use just a little of the sample on a small area.

By being cautious you can save yourself a lot of stress and once you do discover that your skin is perfectly fine with a new product that you’re trying you can relax more and enjoy your facial skin routine.

Getting Rid Of Blackheads

Posted by admin 13 June, 2009 (0) Comment

As blackheads appear they can build up over time if they are not dealt with and end up enlarging the pores so that when they are removed they leave  a temporary hole where the blackhead was, if removed by squeezing.

Squeezing is not the best way to rid your skin of blackheads though, because often the areas of your face like the nose, where you are most likely to see blackheads appearing will not provide an ideal opportunity to remove them by squeezing as it can be awkward to do and you risk leaving marks on your skin which can look pretty bad.

There are a few solutions to reduce the size of blackheads and eventually clear your skin of them and one method is by gradually cleansing, using scrub products and quite regularly a mask treatment, also steaming the pores open to allow possibly easier removal as you go through your cleansing routine.

By working at reducing the size of the blackheads, with an aim to ridding your skin of them altogether, you give the pores a chance to shrink back down in size and if you keep to a regular routine of using cleansers, masks, scrubs, specific blackhead cleansers and other products available, it will help prevent them from appearing again but you need to stick to doing this as blackheads will return quite easily again if the pores get a chance to get clogged up.

For a more instant solution but still without actually squeezing them out with your nails you can use deep cleansing pore strips from places like Biore and even after you have used one of these strips you should continue to cleanse your face daily and still have a good routine in place because ideally its better to keep your skin clear of blackheads or at least keep the size of them minimal, rather than them getting large and stretching the pores.

If you have especially delicate skin you want to be careful while using pore cleansing strips as they are intended to be left to dry on your skin for around 10 – 15 minutes before you begin to slowly peel it off, and for it to be able to pull on the blackheads enough to pull them out of the pores its going to be sticking to your skin quite tightly.

You will see some redness after using pore cleansing strips so you need a good plan in place so that you can help the skin in that area recover quickly and to lessen any redness.

Ideally you want to use the strip later at night and not before you’re due to leave the house for work.

Whatever you do though, dont squeeze them, your nails are not a good idea and you dont want to risk spots and more problems in any affected areas, by pushing and squeezing on an area you risk pushing others around that area and keeping the pores clogged.

You can get rid of blackheads, even stubborn ones, the key is to continue with what products and routine works for you to prevent them from appearing again.
